Her extensive chamber music experience includes an invitation from the Kumho Asiana Cultural Foundation to tour Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Panama both as part of a piano trio with pianist Yekwon Sunwo and cellist Clara Kang, and as a soloist.
In 2012 her piano quintet won first prize at the American Protégé International Competition and was invited to the Banff Music Festival. Her “Duo Davvero” with pianist Claire Lim was awarded Best Duo Performance in the Académie de Musique Lausanne program by Robert Levin and Pierre Amoyal.
She has served as concertmaster for New England Conservatory’s Chamber Orchestra, Boston University’s Symphony Orchestra, New England Repertory Orchestra, NEMPAC Opera Project Chamber Orchestra as well as for the Hwaum Chamber Orchestra.
Ms. Kim received her Doctor of Musical Arts from Boston University, Master of Music from New England Conservatory, attended Pinchas Zukerman’s Performance Program at the Manhattan School of Music as a full scholarship recipient, and received her bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University. Her mentors include Donald Weilerstein, Pinchas Zukerman, and Bayla Keyes.
Ms. Kim joined the Concord Conservatory of Music violin faculty in 2018 and is currently managed by New York’s Unique Network Inc. She is engaged with Soloists of New England and Philharmonia Boston as concertmaster.
Violist Minjung Chun has been the recipient of numerous performance honors and prizes. She was First Prize Winner of the Korean Chamber Orchestra Competition in Strings and Sungshin Women's University Competition. She was a top prizewinner in the American Protégé Competition's Concerto division, and was invited to perform in the Winners’ Recital in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.

Pianist Hokyong Choi has been the winner of several prestigious international competitions, including second prize at the 2018 Paderewski International Piano Competition, and first prize at the 2017 Concert Artist International Virtuoso Competition, the 2017 East Coast International Competition, and the 2017 American Fine Arts Festival Concerto Competition. She has frequently performed at the Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall in New York City since her 2016 New York debut after winning first prize in the 2016 American Protege International Competition. As an accomplished chamber artist, Hokyong Choi’s ensemble, Soloists of New England, was invited to perform at the 2018 Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival. She was also invited to perform at the Wellesley Free Library in 2017, and her solo and chamber performances have been filmed by Wellesley Media Corporation, a Massachusetts cable station. For the past two years Ms. Choi has been invited to serve as a staff pianist at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, where she has worked closely with many young musicians.
Ms. Choi received her Doctor of Musical Arts from the Boston University, Master of Music from the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University, and her Bachelor of Music from Seoul National University. Her mentors include Hee Sung Joo, Yong Hee Moon, and Boaz Sharon. Her doctoral lecture recital presented Nicholai Medrner's work for piano solo, 6 Skazki Op.51, under the title "Skazka utilized narratives of the Russian tradition of folk-tales in the old-fashioned scheme, as well as an abundance of Russian musical characteristics".
She is currently on faculty at Sharon Music Academy and is engaged with Soloists of New England and Boston University Tanglewood Institute as a pianist.
Young Sook Lee, a native of South Korea has appeared as an acclaimed soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician throughout North America and in Asia.

Nathaniel made his solo debut in 2016 with Jonathan McPhee and the Boston Conservatory Orchestra playing the Elgar Cello Concerto. He has also appeared as soloist with the Lexington Symphony, cello ensemble “BoCoCelli”, and the Hemenway Strings; a conductorless chamber orchestra led by internationally acclaimed violinist Lynn Chang. Future engagements include the “Colour of Music” Festival, the San Francisco Silent Film Festival with the Berklee Silent Film Orchestra, and Kabalevsky Cello Concerto No.2 with Maestro Bruce Hangen and the Orchestra of Indian Hill.
An active chamber musician, Nathaniel has been chosen numerous times to play in the Chamber Music Honors Concerts at the Boston Conservatory in performances of Berg String Quartet Op.3, Ravel String Quartet, Shostakovich Piano Quintet, Brahms Piano Trio No.1 in B Major, Dvorak “Dumky” Trio, and Tchaikovsky Piano Trio. In 2016, he was invited to play on the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center as well as Sirius XM Radio with the BoCoCelli Quartet and the “No Strings Attached” Brass Quintet. A past highlight of this season was a performance of Schubert's famous Cello Quintet in C Major with world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
Nathaniel received his B.M (2015), Graduate Performance Diploma (2017), and Professional Studies Certificate (2018) from the Boston Conservatory where he studied with cellist Rhonda Rider. Beginning in the Fall, he will continue his studies at the Boston Conservatory where he will be a candidate for the institutions most prestigious program, the Artist Diploma.

Julia Glenn, VIOLIN
Violinist Julia Glenn has been hailed as “remarkable,” “gripping,” and a “brilliant soloist” (New York Times) and “fully focused and betraying not one whit of insecurity” (Boston Musical Intelligencer). A 2018 graduate of Juilliard's C.V. Starr doctoral program, where she studied with Joseph Lin and Cynthia Roberts, she obtained her master’s from New England Conservatory in 2013 under James Buswell and her bachelor’s in linguistics magna cum laude from Harvard University in 2012.
A devoted solo and chamber musician, Julia has concertized widely and has recently appeared on stages including Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall, Sanders Theatre, Jordan Hall, the Beijing Recital Hall, and Shanghai Concert Hall. Dr. Glenn has a deep interest in exploring and sharing the music and culture of China, and draws upon her background in linguistics and Chinese language to open up fruitful avenues in Chinese music theory and performance. Her doctoral dissertation was titled “Hearing in Tone: A Phonetic Approach to the Analysis and Performance of Chinese Contemporary Music.” She has recently presented talks and lecture-performances on her work at the Harvard Shanghai Center, Hamburg Hochschule für Musik und Theatre, Harvard University, Shanghai Conservatory, Beijing Central Conservatory, and Juilliard. Julia serves on the faculties of Juilliard’s College, Pre-College, and Evening Divisions.

Johyun Min received a Bachelor of Music from Seoul National University, where she studied with Ju-young Baek, in her home of South Korea, and a Master’s degree from New England Conservatory as a student of Soovin Kim. She currently works with Soovin kim in the Graduate Diploma at the NEC.
Ms. Min won the Second Prize at the 2008 Osaka international music competition and she made her first chamber recital as a winner of Kumho Young Chamber Audition. Also, she won the fifth prize at The 2017 HKIVS/Shlomo Mintz International Competition.
